Inés Rodríguez Fuentes, born in Southern Spain, started painting at the age of 8 before going on to earn a degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious University of Granada. During her studies, the disciplines of painting, sculpture and photography were her preferred ones.

Moving to Vienna in 2015 brought Inés closer to finding her own style. While being inspired by the city and landscape around her, she also gained new appreciation for the unique beauty of the South.

“I was lucky to come back with a new perspective
and absorb it as if I was seeing it for the first time.”

Passionate of the light, color, and traveling, her paintings show a new way of perceiving the world around her.

Starting to teach Art to people from many different cultures and backgrounds at the United Nations Office in Vienna became one of her passions.

“Through teaching I find the inspiration to paint,
reflected by all the light my students have brought into my life”.

In recent years, Inés has been featured in exhibitions at the United Nation’s Vienna International Center, the Vienna City Hall and during ICDO’s “Long Night of Intercultural Dialogue”, among others.
